Can a cell have a soul?

Because there are challenging debates between those who argue that all research involving embryonic stem cells is immoral and those who see immense medical potential in this area of research, I have decided to include this article. This study found that medical need dictates that the origin of human individuality must be defined with similar pragmatic precision. So a cell cannot have a soul.
