Drug markers questioned

A recent spate of worrying clinical-trial data has researchers questioning drugs approved on the basis of how they affect biomarkers rather than clinical endpoints. Heidi Ledford looks at surrogate markers.

Wow. This doesn't look as flashy as the hybrid embryo article, but this is our whole system of drug approval under review.

The surrogate markers plays a significant role in drug approval, and has some shortcomings. But the problem is very difficult to solve. The patient should get a choice to choose a drug to save their lives.

This article told us many problems on drug research, drug development,and drug regulate.FDA is remiss, they should improve effect and be responsible for the safey of drug before they are on sales.

People neglect the long-time side-effcts in using the drugs. I believe that this is not the first time we take actions after limited judgement in curing diseases. Not a single judgement is perfect right, but we can manage to conquer the shortcomings.
