Global warming threatens tropical insects

sea-maid submitted, created time 6 months 4 days (news.bbc.co.uk)

From this study, we know that insects in the tropics are much more sensitive to temperature changes than those elsewhere. U.S. scientists have said that many tropical insects face extinction by the end of this century unless they adapt to the rising global temperatures predicted.

The problem of global warming have been present for a long time. When can we solve it thoroughly?

A very important question Kavin? Michael Laitman (http://www.laitman.com/2008/05/global-warming-it-will-affect-tropical-insects-but-what-is-causing-it/) explains that popular opinion states that global warming is a result of people’s physical attitude toward nature, and not as a result of our relationships with one another. This faulty opinion is the basis for why we cannot solve the problem thoroughly or even contain it.

It will soon become revealed that our relationships which are a result of our human nature are the cause of all the world’s problems. Nature exists in a state of harmony but our human nature is contrary to this harmony because of our drive for self-gratification. We are takers, not givers. We take from nature and from each other.

In a related article, Laitman explains further: "Unlike humans, the drive to maintain balance is an inherent trait at all levels of nature. Humans are the only exception to the rule. Hence, in the entire universe, humankind is the only disruptive element. Therefore, mending human nature will automatically mend all other parts of nature, whereas continuing to disrupt nature’s balance would inevitably prolong and intensify our troubles."
